Invitation for Pre-qualification for Oil Cable & Stop Joint Supply to Kuwait

1 PURPOSE OF INVITATION

We, China National Cable Engineering Corporation (referred to as CCC), are procuring oil cable and stop joint for Maintenance and Repair of Defective High Voltage Power Cables up to 400kV in the First Area Project (referred to as the Project) and accordingly invite interested parties to participate the Pre-qualification for being potential supplier for the intended purchase of materials. The Project is 100% funded by Ministry of Electricity & Water & Renewable Energy of Kuwait (referred to as MEW).

2   ITEM TO BE PURCHASED

3  OBTAIN AND SUBMIT PREQUALIFICATION DOCUMENTS

For any party who wish to participate the Pre-qualification (referred to as the Applicants), please send following documents to apply for Pre-qualification Documents from 8:30 to 16:30 (Beijing time) from November 28, 2024 to December 2, 2024. CCC will only send the Pre-qualification Documents for applications received during the above time period and send out all Pre-qualification Documents by 17:00 December 2, 2024 (Beijing time). 

Applicants are required to provide the following information and documents:

(1) The scanned copy of itsbusiness license;

          (2) The authorization letter issued by the applicant to its designated contact which approves the applicant’s contact is duly authorized according to the applicant’s governing law and the applicant will bear all relative responsibilities for statement                        made or information provided by its contact.

        The deadline for submission of Pre-qualification Documents is 12:00 PM December 5, 2024 (Beijing time). Any Pre-qualification Document not received by this time will be reject by CCC.

 Fee for Pre-qualification documents: Free.

4  Key Criteria

(1) Applicant needs to be listed on the MEW's shortlist of qualified suppliers.

(2) Applicant shall provide the manufacturer's authorization letter to sell in Kuwait if applicant is not the manufacturer.

(3) Applicant should have sales experience of the corresponding item materials.

(4) Applicant shall submit type test reports by KEMA of oil filled power cable& type test reports of stop joint.

Pre-qualification will be based on the compliance of the applicant’s eligibility of supply, sales experience, type test report, quality management and etc. The applicant shall meet the minimum standards of all items to be qualified.
