Successful Energization and Handover of Brazil 230kV Amazon River Big Crossing Transmission Line Project
On March 2nd, 2023 (March 1st, 2023 Brazil time), the 230kV Amazon River Big Crossing Transmission Line Project constructed by CCC successfully completed the energization, and on June21st,2023, the owner formally issued the TOC (Taking-over certificate), which marked that the project was completely handed over to the owner and entered into the warranty, and also marked that CCC had made a further success in the field of South American big crossing transmission lines.
This project is the second Amazon River big crossing project undertaken by our company, including the design, supply and construction of 230kV double-circuit single-split transmission line project, the total length of the crossing spanning length is 3,556 meters, and the height of the suspension towers is 253.5 meters. CCC adopted an innovative method to solve the difficulties of anti-vibration for the conductor across the Amazon River, and proposed a new type of anti-vibration system, which has become the single-conductor transmission line with the largest EDS value in the world. Its formal operation of the 230kV Oriximiná - Juruti double-circuit transmission line in Brazil will have significant economic and social benefits in terms of improving the structure of the Brazilian regional power network and coordinating and balancing regional development.
